Plan + Form was founded by Ricky Thomas, an architectural designer whose work combines systems thinking, spatial clarity, and long-term adaptability. The studio’s approach is shaped by years of residential, commercial, and hospitality experience across Botswana and the United States, with a focus on creating architecture that is both refined and practical. His architectural education includes study in both the United Kingdom and the United States, where his work received design recognition, including an Excellence award from the American Institute of Architects.

Design philosophy
At the center of his work is a belief that strong systems create stronger architecture. That thinking now shapes Plan + Form’s framework-based approach to residential design. The aim is not to reduce architecture into something generic, but to create intelligent starting points that make good design more usable, more flexible, and more enduring over time.
